Hi, My name is Alicia Brigman and I am currently employed as a Image Specialist at Promotions Unlimited in Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin and have been for over a decade. In addition to being an Image Specialist, I am also employed at Skyprint LLC. as a part-time Web Designer. I have a passion for creating lasting impressions with my designs that focus not only on creativity but also functionality for the user.
Working as an Image Specialist, I take photos of a variety of products for use in a multitude of applications including monthly catalogs, print advertisements, trade-show banners and e-commerce solutions. In addition to photographing products, I also edit each and every photo that comes in to the department using Adobe Photoshop. During the editing process, I color correct images for true to life realism, mask impurities on the product and create clipping paths so that the image may be used without its background in a variety of different scenarios. After the editing process, the images are archived in a database that spans across a ten year period for future referencing for several departments.
As a Web Designer, being organized is key to making a great website that is functional to the user. Utilizing the WordPress platform, I have created websites that serve several different markets locally. Beginning from a wireframe to a full-color comp, my rough work insures that the client gets a full picture of their website prior to the design stage. From there, I edit images for use within the prospective website, manage graphic archives and insure that all images are edited to work on the website. During the development phase, I outline different dates that the client may see the website while it is being worked on to make sure that they are part of the process as a whole and to get working idea of their thoughts on the site during the design stage. In addition to building the website, I utilize both HTML and CSS to make sure that the site fits the needs of the needs of the user. I have also facilitated several domain and host moves for clients utilizing both PHPmyadmin and MYsql to move over wordpress databases clients.
